The Studio
We've been in our new studio for a few months now and feeling pretty settled. The sun is out and the wild flowers and new fruit trees are starting to flourish. We wanted to share a series of photographs documenting the conversion from a dilapidated barn to the workplace we now have. So to start, here's a few photos of the shell we had to work with. It was winter, wet and cold. Mud, grab trucks and some more mud for good measure.
Here are a few images of the build after the site was cleared and prepared. The whole build took approximately 7 months. Check the timber beam being balanced on a genie lift and slotted into place. Fine tolerances required.
The final result of the studio conversion. Compare with our starting photos. Our new workplace = more space, bigger workshop, peaceful surroundings, wild flowers in bloom. We love it.
